We buy books in English across most disciplines. You can bring your books to us, but we recommend emailing beforehand (shakespeareandsons@gmail.com) so we can let you know what we are interested in. 

The book buyer is in store Wednesday through Sunday. If a price has been agreed upon over email, you are welcome to bring your books by at any time. 

We can offer cash or more in store credit, to be used either in the bookstore or the cafe.

By and large, we buy what we know we can sell; no travel guides or outdated encyclopedias. If a book is in good condition and seems like it would fit in with our current stock, we would likely be interested in it.

While we cannot buy every book, we do also accept donations of titles we can’t sell on.

Should you have a large enough collection and are not able to bring it to us, we can make house calls.
